How do I make a booking?
Please use the booking form to book or alternatively call us on 1300 76 11 90. Classic cars are our passion, and we’ll be only too happy to discuss your needs with you.
Payment in full or a non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Payment can be made over the phone with a credit card. Aspirations is unable to accept payment for car hire by other means.
A refundable security deposit, which is payable on the day of hire in the form of a credit/debit card pre-authorisation, is common to all classic and general car hire companies. This is refundable on return of the car. If the hirer cannot refuel the car, receives any speeding fines or causes minor damage to the car, the cost will be taken from the security deposit. This includes mechanical damage brought about by abuse or misuse but does not include stone chips and other examples of unavoidable wear and tear.
What happens if I have to cancel?
In the event of a cancellation made up to a fortnight before the commencement of the hire period, we will issue a credit voucher of equivalent value to the amount paid (deposit or full hire amount) redeemable against vehicle hire on another date. Vouchers are valid for 12 months.
Are there any driver restrictions?
Drivers must be over 25 years of age and hold an appropriate drivers license recognised by our insurer (please check for overseas licenses). Please see our standard Terms and Conditions for more information.
Do the cars run on unleaded fuel?
All the cars run on unleaded fuel. Some cars also require petrol additive to be used. This is very straightforward and we will provide you with instructions as part of our driver’s briefing.
What happens if the car breaks down?
All cars are covered for breakdown and recovery by the NRMA. If a car cannot be repaired it will be brought back to base and if possible we will replace the car with an equivalent vehicle or upgrade you.
What if I'm worried about something during the hire period?
When you pick up the car, we will provide you with our mobile telephone numbers, together with contact numbers for the NRMA. We ask that you do not hesitate to call if there is anything at all about the car that concerns you.
Where can we leave our everyday car?
Unfortunately we are unable to store your everyday car during the hire period. We can however arrange a convenient pick up point for the car with you or drop the car off by arrangement.
How do the gift vouchers work?
Vouchers are ideal when buying classic car hire as a gift. We will send you a voucher in $100 denominations or provide a custom designed voucher depicting the car to be hired. The vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
Can I hire the car and drive it myself for a wedding or other special occasion?
Yes, but please do not decorate it in any way other than with ribbons or subject it to attack by crazy foam or other products that might damage the paint or chromework.
