The Jaguar SType was released in 1963 as a plusher version of the MKII. It shared the same body as the MKII, but with the suspension of the EType Jaguar and a longer boot space. The SType has more of a gentleman’s image than the “bad boy” persona of the MKII. This may be one of the reasons that Jaguar chose to reuse the name in 2000 with the release of the modern SType into their model range.
1960’s Jaguars have become popular wedding cars. Either on its own or with one of Aspirations other cars (perhaps the dark blue EType or Aspirations Champagne Silver Mustang) a Jaguar always makes for an impressive entrance and photographs at a wedding.
Aspiration’s SType spent time all over Queensland, spending time as a Doctors car in Mackay, and more recently being cherished as a Sunday driver in Cairns. It is gold in colour with a cream interior surrounded by a lot or walnut timber finishing. It has a 3.8L Jaguar engine and manual gearbox. This Jaguar is a very comfortable ride as it “purrs” its way along.
If you are looking for a touch of class in you wedding car, or a picnic day out in style with the family, our SType could be perfect for you.
