The classic shape of the Jaguar XJ6 remained as the company’s flagship from it’s launch in 1968 until the mid 1980’s. Those classic Pinifarina lines, along with those of the SType, were resurrected to influence the style of Jaguar’s modern cars. Just proves that classic design cannot be beaten.
More recently, Jaguars have become popular wedding cars. Aspirations has 3 matching XJ6s in all. Either on its own or with one of Aspirations other cars (perhaps the MKII or SType) a Jaguar always makes for an impressive entrance and photographs at a wedding or a formal. Alternatively, the car would make the perfect accompanyment for a luxurious weekend away.
Described in reviews of the time as having a quieter and more comfortable ride than a Rolls Royce, these Jaguar’s are certainly a joy to drive, or be driven in, as you effortlessly float along on your journey.
Aspiration’s XJ6s are special. Whilst a relatively large number of these cars were built, very few good examples remain. This car is one of those rarities, being built in the last year of production of the original XJ6. It gleams in old English white and has a matching tan interior, seating 5 adults in comfort. If you are looking for 1960’s charm with some of the creature comforts of 20 years later, then the XJ6 could well be for you.
